In WordPress, a page is a post type that is used for more static content and is not shown alongside standard posts in the chronological listing of WordPress blog posts.

    Unlike posts, pages do not:

    • have categories
    • have tags
    • show in the RSS feed for the website
    • show up in the chronological listings of posts.

Examples of a few basic pages you will want to create for your website:

    • About page
    • Contact Us page
    • Privacy page
