Welcome to Love, Coffee, & WordPress!

Hi!

This is a just a post to take the place of the default “Hello World” post for now… In case you stumble upon this website, I like to generally work on my sites live at a point (unless it’s for a client.) May be a bad habit, but that’s how I roll.

I like to blog about a multitude of different things and have gone back and forth on making my primary website very broad or more “niche.” Keeping up on several blogs isn’t easy work. But, ultimately, I found I wanted to keep my other blog to a more narrow set of topics and branch out into other blogs — even if that means writing less often.

I made a false start on a project called “Sloth Makes a Blog,” intended to be a step by step tutorial about creating a WordPress site from the very basic to the more complicated — based on a little story about a sloth making a blog. But I found that I often wanted to add snippets without resorting to slothery. You might find Zip the sloth slipping in here as I write about starting from stage 1. But this is also my repository for snippets and things I’ve found along my long and sometimes frustrating journey with WordPress.

Come back soon as I get to writing!

Cheryl is a "retired" Occupational Therapist who loves writing and is a WordPress enthusiast. She used to be like Rapid Rabbit, but these days, her spirit animal is Zip the Sloth. She's looking forward to getting more active again, though, and likes cycling, kayaking, meditation, reading and writes/blogs a lot. In fact, she crazily writes several blogs: Pacific Northwest and Beyond, Caffeine Journal, and as she actually worked in geriatrics and is actually getting older herself, is writing a blog about that: Ancient & Awesome.
